Job summary

Cpl Healthcare is seeking an experienced Electrical Package Manager to lead electrical building services works on major data centre projects in Dublin. This site-based role focuses on safe, efficient delivery and adherence to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include coordinating with the client and stakeholders, managing installation activities, reviewing method statements and risk assessments, and ensuring timely look‑ahead planning and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical package management in a construction contracting environment.
• Experience delivering electrical packages on data centre, industrial, pharmaceutical, or mission‑critical projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain effective communication with the client and project stakeholders.
• Coordinate electrical installation activities to meet project specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Sequence electrical installations with the project team to meet programme milestones.
• Prepare and review electrical method statements, risk assessments and technical documentation.
• Monitor the four‑week look‑ahead programme for the electrical package with the team.
• Coordinate with electrical subcontractors, suppliers and vendors for successful delivery.
• Document and cost scope changes, including monthly valuations and final account contributions.
• Manage technical submittals, RFIs, inspection records and quality documentation.
• Compile and maintain O&M, testing, commissioning and BCAR documentation.
• Ensure as‑built information reflects completed works during installation changes.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities for project completion.

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Package Manager to join our team in Dublin. This is a site‑based role responsible for managing and coordinating electrical building services works on major data centre projects, ensuring delivery is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain effective communication with the client and wider project stakeholders
• Manage electrical installation activities associated with the assigned package, ensuring works are delivered in line with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements
• Coordinate closely with the project team to sequence electrical installations, including containment, cabling, power systems, and associated electrical services, to meet programme milestones
• Prepare and review electrical method statements, risk assessments, and technical documentation for construction activities
• Manage and monitor the four‑week look‑ahead programme for the electrical package in coordination with the wider project team
• Coordinate with electrical subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure successful delivery of the works package
• Assist with documenting and costing scope changes, including preparation of monthly valuations and contribution to the final account
• Manage technical submittals, RFIs, inspection records, and quality documentation associated with the electrical package
• Compile and maintain O&M, testing, commissioning, and BCAR documentation for the electrical works
• Monitor changes during installation and ensure all as‑built information accurately reflects completed works
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities to ensure successful project completion

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or similar
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar electrical package management role within a construction contracting environment
• Previous experience delivering electrical packages on data centre, industrial, pharmaceutical, or mission‑critical projects preferred
• Strong understanding of electrical building services installations and construction processes
• Excellent organisation, communication, and time management skills
• Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
