Job summary

Global Professional Consultants Ireland seeks an Electrical Package Manager for a Data Centre project in Belgium. The role involves managing all electrical activities ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Building Services or Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience.

Electrical Package Manager (EU Rotation)

The Electrical Package Manager is required for a very well-established multi-disciplinary contractor for a Data Centre project in Belgium. The candidate will report into the Electrical Project Manager and will receive excellent support and career progression opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Management of a specific Electrical Systems Package for the project.
• Management of Electrical QAQC in line with project QA Manager.
• Management of design consultants and electrical contractors.
• Programming, planning, coordinating and reporting of all electrical activities relating to the package.
• Ensure compliance with programme, materials, quality and safety issues.
• Manage and drive a large team to meet all project requirements and deadlines.
• Ensure the adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Ensure project profitability.
• Track the project progress.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering or relevant trade background required.
• 5 Years+ experience as an Electrical Supervisor/Engineer/Package Manager.
• Must have worked with an M&E Contractor in Ireland or the UK.
• Must have good commercial awareness and be a client facing individual.
• Experience working on Data Centre projects would be advantageous.
