Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Package Manager for a major residential project in Dublin. You will oversee the delivery of electrical services from pre-construction through testing, commissioning and handover, coordinating with the design team and subcontractors.

The role requires a relevant electrical qualification and at least eight years of industry experience, preferably with main contractors or M&E contractors, with responsibilities across large-scale projects.

One of Ireland’s leading main contractors, with a strong portfolio of work secured across Dublin for the coming years. This includes several major residential developments, with a number of projects valued at over €100 million due to commence.

The company also delivers large-scale commercial, industrial and data centre projects across Ireland and internationally. Due to continued growth, they are expanding their Building Services team and are seeking an Electrical Package Manager for a major residential project in Dublin.

Your New Role

As Electrical Package Manager, you will manage the delivery of electrical services from pre-construction through to testing, commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the electrical package from planning through to handover
• Coordinating design information with the design team and subcontractors
• Monitoring the programme and progress of electrical installations
• Ensuring works meet project quality and safety requirements
• Inspecting installations against the approved quality plan
• Managing testing and commissioning activities
• Resolving technical and coordination issues

What You’ll Need

• A relevant electrical trade or third-level qualification
• At least eight years’ industry experience, preferably with a main contractor or M&E contractor
• Experience delivering large-scale residential, commercial, pharmaceutical or data centre projects
• Strong electrical services and project coordination experience
• Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills
