Job summary

ESB is seeking an Overhauls Team Leader – Electrical in Dublin to lead a team of electrical engineers in delivering overhaul projects across generation assets. You will drive technical input from design to handover, coordinate safe and efficient delivery, and oversee procurement and contract activities for overhaul work.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive experience in power generation or heavy industry, and the ability to travel nationally and internationally.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in power generation or heavy industrial sector.
• Minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience.
• Leadership experience in managing people & teams.
• Driving license (B) required.
• Chartered status preferred; evidence of progress toward same.

Responsibilities

• Manage the electrical engineering team in OH project delivery from inception to handover.
• Support OH Programme planning and safe delivery of electrical plant scopes.
• Develop team in technical competency, project management, quality control & safety.
• Liaise with stakeholders including Generation Asset Specialists and Project Managers.
• Oversee procurement plans, tendering and contract management for OH works.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations.
