Job summary

Keogh's Farm in North County Dublin is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the Maintenance Manager at our production facility. You will perform mechanical, electrical and automation maintenance, fault finding and preventative tasks in a food manufacturing environment.

The role operates on a night shift, five nights a week (Mon-Fri, 8:30pm–5:30am), with premium night rates. You will work closely with the Quality team to ensure safety, hygiene and equipment uptime.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience in industrial maintenance, preferably food industry.
• Diploma/ trade qualification in engineering.
• Proven track record in preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and detect malfunctioning equipment.
• Excellent communication and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical, electrical and some general building fabric maintenance.
• Identify and remedy equipment maintenance issues to maximise uptime.
• Service electrical, mechanical and non-technical equipment.
• Update maintenance checklists regularly.
• Perform preventative maintenance per schedule and manage tasks.
• Assist and manage subcontractors as required.
• Identify spare parts and manage stock levels.
• Mentor production team with technical advice to maximise performance.
• Collaborate with Quality during inspections and audits.
• Work across departments to ensure efficiency.
• Maintain Health & Safety compliance and drive continuous improvements.
