Job summary

CHEP – Dublin Finglas is seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to maintain and improve manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment. You will perform proactive and reactive maintenance, read engineering drawings, and support site reliability and change initiatives.

The role requires Irish NFQ Level 5 or NVQ Level 3 in Mech/Electrical/Multi-skilled Engineering, electrical qualifications, and strong fault-finding skills.

Qualifications

• Irish NFQ Level 5 or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a Mech/Electrical/Multi-skilled Engineering Qualification.
• Electrical bias is essential – must hold relevant electrical qualifications.
• Multi-skilled across electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Experience in fast-paced, safety-driven environments.
• Strong fault-finding skills (electrical, mechanical, PLC).
• Ability to read engineering drawings and operate workshop tools.
• Experience and/or certifications in automation, PLCs, and robotics highly desirable.
• Safety-conscious, adaptable, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Maintain manufacturing assets as part of a multi-skilled team.
• Complete proactive and reactive maintenance following H&S procedures.
• Support site reliability agenda and project initiatives.
• Issue work permits and supervise contractors.
