Job summary

Glanua is offering an Electrical Engineering Internship anchored in water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will support multidisciplinary teams from design through handover under experienced engineers, focusing on learning and applying electrical design, CAD and BIM tools.

Final-year students graduating in 2027 may receive an immediate offer for the Glanua Electrical Engineering Graduate Programme starting September 2027, with structured mentoring and rotations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or closely related degree programme.
• Final-year students graduating in 2027 are eligible.
• Strong academic foundation and genuine interest in electrical systems and sustainable water/wastewater infrastructure.
• Strong numerical, analytical, communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to project locations as required.
• Exposure to electrical design, CAD, BIM, control systems, instrumentation, power systems or related engineering software.
• Previous construction, engineering, infrastructure or water-sector experience gained through university projects, part-time work, volunteering or another placement.
• Basic awareness of electrical drawings, equipment specifications, installation practices, testing or commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical design across multidisciplinary water and wastewater projects under experienced engineers.
• Assist with design reviews, calculations, cable sizing, diagrams, schedules and equipment specifications.
• Review supplier information and support procurement, material tracking and technical queries.
• Maintain accurate design, project and document-control records and communicate progress clearly.
