Job summary

E-Frontiers is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Dublin team, delivering large-scale, technically complex mission-critical projects. You will coordinate across engineering, construction and subcontractor teams to ensure electrical packages are delivered safely and to high standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing designs, coordinating disciplines, assisting with procurement, and supporting QA/QC and testing activities.

Qualifications

  • A relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
  • Experience as an Electrical Engineer in construction, engineering or building-services environment.
  • Experience delivering technically complex electrical installations.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, drawings, specifications and construction documentation.
  • Experience coordinating electrical packages with other engineering disciplines.
  • Good understanding of QA/QC and Health & Safety requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project delivery environment.

  • Support the delivery of electrical packages across large-scale mission-critical projects.
  • Review electrical designs, drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate electrical services with mechanical, structural and other project disciplines.
  • Work closely with site teams, subcontractors, consultants and client representatives.
  • Provide technical support and resolve electrical design and installation queries.
  • Monitor electrical installation works to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements and relevant standards.
  • Support procurement and review technical submissions, equipment specifications and material approvals.
  • Track progress of electrical works against the project programme and identify potential risks or delays.
  • Attend design, coordination and project progress meetings.
  • Support QA/QC processes, inspections and documentation.
  • Assist with testing, commissioning and handover activities.
  • Ensure electrical works are delivered in accordance with relevant health & safety requirements.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, technical records and progress updates.

Electrical Engineer – Mission Critical Projects | Dublin

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a leading engineering and construction organisation delivering large-scale, technically complex mission-critical projects in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced project environment, coordinating across engineering, construction and specialist subcontractor teams to ensure electrical packages are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest technical standards.

The Role

As Electrical Engineer, you will support the delivery of electrical systems across complex, high-value construction projects from design coordination through installation, testing and handover.

Key responsibilities will include:

Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone with:

  • A relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
  • Previous experience working as an Electrical Engineer within a construction, engineering or building-services environment.
  • Experience delivering technically complex electrical installations.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, drawings, specifications and construction documentation.
  • Experience coordinating electrical packages with other engineering disciplines.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical installation and commissioning processes.
  • Experience working with subcontractors and site-based construction teams.
  • Good understanding of QA/QC and Health & Safety requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving and technical coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced project delivery environment.
Highly Desirable

Experience on large-scale mission-critical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, healthcare or similarly complex engineering projects would be particularly advantageous.
