Job summary

Clear. is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer in Ireland to support data centre and mission-critical projects. You will develop high-quality electrical designs, produce drawings and calculations, and ensure compliance with standards while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.

Applicants with data centre, pharmaceutical or industrial sector experience are encouraged. Domestic and international travel is required to meet project demands.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Electrical Design Engineer in data centres or mission-critical sectors.
• Knowledge of ETCI regulations, BS 7671 and EN/IEC standards.
• Experience with electrical design software such as Amtech, ETAP, EPLAN P8, PSCAD, DIgSILENT and CDEGS.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit/Navisworks and Adobe Pro/Bluebeam, plus MS Office.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and coordinating skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to support the delivery of data centre and mission-critical projects with opportunities to work across domestic and international locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality electrical designs, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle. Candidates with experience in data centres, pharmaceutical, industrial or other mission-critical environments are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver electrical engineering designs for data centre and mission-critical projects.
• Prepare electrical drawings, specifications, calculations and technical documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable regulations, standards and industry guidelines.
• Coordinate electrical designs with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders.
• Support design reviews, technical assessments and project delivery activities.
• Utilise industry-standard design software to produce accurate and compliant engineering deliverables.
• Undertake domestic and international travel as required by project demands.

Requirements
