Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Ireland is seeking a seasoned professional for project management. The candidate must have over 10 years of experience in a similar role, ideally with an electrical trade background. Responsibilities include managing project financials, leading teams, and ensuring client satisfaction. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Revit are required. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment with potential travel to the UK/Europe based on project needs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Electrical trade background advantageous.
  • Experience in delivery of Datacentre/Life Science projects is a plus.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a cross-functional team.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel to the UK/Europe as required, depending on work secured.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all financial and management aspects of the project.
  • Overall responsibility for project team, labor control and coordination.
  • Liaising with the Client and key project stakeholders.
  • Overall responsibility for schedule, QA/Cx and Health and Safety.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects where required.
  • Liaising with the Client and key project stakeholders when required.
  • Work directly with the relevant Director to expand the business through tendering and negotiating of new work.
  • Review tender submissions, valuation preparation and reporting on same.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with Client.

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
