Job summary

Jones Engineering in Maynooth is seeking an Electrical BIM Detailer/Modeller to join our project teams, delivering precise 3D models of electrical systems and associated documentation. You will work with the Project Team Leads and engineers, using Revit and Navisworks to coordinate with architects and other disciplines, and to perform clash detection.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years minimum in a similar position.
• Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Revit and Navisworks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of BIM workflows, content standards, and BEP.
• Strong problem‑solving to identify and resolve clashes and design conflicts.
• Attention to detail in modelling, documentation and coordination tasks.
• Adaptability to new BIM technologies and fast-paced environments.
• Organization and time management to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Model development: Create detailed 3D BIM models of Electrical systems using Autodesk products and latest technologies.
• Coordination: Liaise with architects/engineers for seamless BIM integration.
• Clash Detection: Use Navisworks Manage to identify and resolve clashes.
• Documentation: Produce 2D design drawings/shop drawings from BIM models.
• BIM Standards & Compliance: Adhere to BEP and project BIM requirements.
