Job summary

Jones Engineering in Maynooth/Collinstown is seeking a BIM Detailer to join our project teams, delivering detailed 3D models of electrical systems and coordinating with engineers, architects and construction professionals.

You will develop accurate BIM models using Revit and Navisworks, perform clash detection, produce 2D drawings from 3D models, and ensure compliance with BEP and project standards. We value precision, collaboration, and ongoing learning with CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in BIM software, especially Revit and Navisworks.
• Minimum 1 year in a similar position.
• Strong collaboration and communication within a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of BIM workflows and BEP requirements.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving in BIM modelling.

Responsibilities

• Model Development: create detailed 3D BIM models of electrical systems using Revit and Navisworks.
• Co-ordination: liaise with architects, engineers and other disciplines for seamless integration.
• Clash Detection: perform clash checks to resolve conflicts before construction.
• Documentation: produce 2D drawings from 3D BIM models and ensure constructability.
• BIM Standards & Compliance: adhere to BEP and project BIM requirements.
