Job summary

Jones Engineering is seeking a BIM Detailer based in our Leixlip office. You will deliver 3D BIM models of electrical systems and support project delivery within a multi-disciplinary team.

The role emphasizes coordination with architects and engineers, clash detection with Navisworks, and producing 2D drawings from BIM models in accordance with BEP.

We value detailed modelling, proactive problem solving, and a commitment to continuous learning as technology and standards evolve.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar BIM role.
• Strong communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in Revit and Navisworks; knowledge of BIM workflows and BEP.

Responsibilities

• Model Development: Create detailed 3D BIM models of electrical systems using Revit/Navisworks.
• Co-ordination: Liaise with architects/engineers to ensure seamless BIM integration.
• Clash Detection: Use Navisworks Manage to identify and resolve clashes before construction.
• Documentation: Produce 2D drawings from BIM models (design/shop drawings).
• BIM Standards & Compliance: Adhere to BEP and project BIM requirements.
