Job summary

ALONE is seeking a Services Manager to lead a multifunctional team delivering core services for older people in Ireland. You will manage operations, mentor staff, and drive improvements while building partnerships to extend reach.

The role focuses on Befriending, Support Coordination, Volunteer Engagement, and Technology Support, with a strong emphasis on reporting, compliance, and impact measurement. A 35-hour week, annual salary reviews, and ongoing development are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years proven experience in service operations.
• Minimum of 2-year staff management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders internally and externally.
• Strong organisational and time management skills to meet KPIs.
• Committed to ALONE’s mission with confidentiality and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver ALONE’s core services including coordination and support.
• Drive partnerships with local statutory, community and voluntary organisations.
• Promote services, build referral pathways and expand community capacity.
• Ensure service delivery meets HSE objectives and timely reporting.
• Identify gaps and design person-centred solutions across sectors.
