Job summary

DPS Group Global seeks an EHS Advisor to bridge the Lead Project Manager and Project Engineer, supporting all safety aspects on projects in Ireland. You will coordinate EHS reporting, incident management and escalation, and deliver clear safety communications.

Essential NEBOSH certification and practical EHS knowledge are required. You will assist with CDM compliance, site initiatives, and audits, while supporting contractors in improving EHS and quality performance.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Certificate or industry equivalent.
• Knowledge of EHS principles within an operational organisation.
• Knowledge of auditing principles.
• Familiarity with risk assessment methods (general, manual handling, HAZOPs/HAZIDs).
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate EHS performance reporting, incident management and escalation, including dashboards and action tracking.
• Develop and deliver EHS communications for internal and external audiences.
• Support CDM implementation ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Support site initiatives and projects for safety improvement.
• Provide administrative support to the EHS team and maintain records.
• Assist in implementing new projects to enhance safety and design operations.
• Support selection of safer measures during engineering changes.
• Lead safety inspections and GEMBA walks with project teams.
• Facilitate safety workshops with contractors and project teams.
• Monitor corrective actions and generate regular progress reports.
• Help contractors improve EHS and quality performance.
