Job summary

ERSG Ltd seeks a Health & Safety Advisor to support high safety standards across large-scale construction projects in Ireland. You will partner with project teams to provide practical guidance, manage risk, and foster a proactive safety culture on site.

You will conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments, review method statements, investigate incidents, and ensure compliance with Irish legislation and company standards. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or professional qualification in Health & Safety or related discipline.
• 3+ years' experience in a Health & Safety role within construction.
• Experience on large-scale commercial/infrastructure projects desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide H&S advice to project managers and site teams.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and safety reviews.
• Prepare risk assessments and method statements.
• Investigate accidents and near misses and identify root causes.
• Monitor subcontractor H&S performance.
• Support site inductions and toolbox talks.
• Develop practical safety improvement actions.
• Stay updated on Irish H&S legislation and best practice.
• Contribute to safety reporting and management systems.
• Build strong working relationships with stakeholders.
