Pay: €15.00-€16.00 per hour Job Description: Early Years Educator – Full-Time Position Tiny Tots Crèche & Educational Preschool is seeking a qualified, enthusiastic and caring Early Years Educator to join our wonderful team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children, enjoys being part of a supportive team and takes pride in providing high-quality care and learning experiences.
The successful applicant will:
- Hold a minimum FETAC/QQI Level 5 Major Award in Early Learning and Care/Childcare
- Have a genuine passion for working with young children
- Have excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Be enthusiastic, reliable and caring
- Be committed to providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children
- Have a positive and professional approach to their work
- Previous crèche or childcare experience is an advantage but not essential
About Tiny Tots
Tiny Tots is a well-established full-day crèche and educational preschool catering for children from 12 months to 10 years. We are open 49 weeks of the year, Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 6:00pm.
The successful candidate will be required to work 8:00am or 9:00am starts through to 5:00pm or 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Requirements
- Minimum QQI/FETAC Level 5 Major Award in Early Learning and Care/Childcare
- Previous crèche or childcare experience is an advantage
- A genuine passion for working with and caring for children
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, responsible and enthusiastic approach to work
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Knowledge of and commitment to child safeguarding, health and safety and good childcare practice
- Must be available to work Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 6:00pm, as required depending on allocated hours
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care, support and supervision to children
- Plan and provide engaging, age-appropriate activities based on children’s interests and development
- Support children’s learning, development and individual needs
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment
- Follow Tiny Tots’ policies and procedures, including health, safety and safeguarding requirements
- Complete observations and maintain accurate records of children’s development
- Work effectively as part of the room team and contribute to the smooth running of the setting
- Support children with daily routines including meals, toileting, sleep and personal care
