Job summary

Tiny Tots Crèche & Educational Preschool in Galway is seeking a qualified Early Years Educator for a full-time position. We value passionate, caring staff who support high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 12 months to 10 years.

The successful candidate will hold a QQI Level 5 Major Award, enjoy teamwork, and commit to a safe, stimulating environment. The role runs 8:00am–6:00pm, 49 weeks a year, with start date in October 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care, support and supervision to children

• Previous crèche or childcare experience is an advantage but not essential

About Tiny Tots

Tiny Tots is a well-established full-day crèche and educational preschool catering for children from 12 months to 10 years. We are open 49 weeks of the year, Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 6:00pm.

The successful candidate will be required to work 8:00am or 9:00am starts through to 5:00pm or 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Requirements

• Minimum QQI/FETAC Level 5 Major Award in Early Learning and Care/Childcare
• Previous crèche or childcare experience is an advantage
• A genuine passion for working with and caring for children
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable, responsible and enthusiastic approach to work
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Knowledge of and commitment to child safeguarding, health and safety and good childcare practice
• Must be available to work Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 6:00pm, as required depending on allocated hours
