Kids Inc. on Foley Street in Dublin 1 is seeking a qualified Early Years Educator to join our full-time, permanent team.

You will play a key role in supporting children's learning and development through engaging, play-based activities in a safe and inclusive environment. We look for QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent, fluent English, and a genuine passion for working with young children.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education or a DCEDIY-recognised equivalent.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Positive, reliable, and professional attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine passion for working with young children.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
• Previous experience in a Creche or Early Years setting.
• First Aid training.
• Manual Handling training.
• Food Safety training.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, caring, and engaging environment for all children.
• Support learning and development through play-based activities.
• Observe and document progress, plan activities building on learning.
• Support physical, emotional, social, cognitive, and language development.
• Supervise children during meals and daily routines.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Maintain accurate observations and records per programme requirements.
• Keep environment clean, safe, and well-organised per company policies.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Creating a safe, caring, and engaging environment for all children
• Supporting children's learning and development through play-based experiences
• Observing children's interests and development, documenting progress, and planning activities that build on their learning
• Supporting children's physical, emotional, social, cognitive, and language development
• Supervising and engaging with children during meals and daily routines
• Building positive relationships with children, parents, guardians, and colleagues
• Maintaining accurate observations and records in line with programme requirements
• Ensuring a clean, safe, and well-organised environment in accordance with company policies and relevant regulations

What We’re Looking For

• QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education, or a qualification recognised by the DCEDIY
• Fluent spoken and written English
