Job summary

Tiny Tots Crèche & Educational Preschool in Galway is seeking a qualified Early Years Educator for a full-time position. We value passionate, caring staff who support high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 12 months to 10 years.

The successful candidate will hold a QQI Level 5 Major Award, enjoy teamwork, and commit to a safe, stimulating environment. The role runs 8:00am–6:00pm, 49 weeks a year, with start date in October 2026.

Qualifications

• Hold a minimum QQI/FETAC Level 5 Major Award in Early Learning and Care/Childcare
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Commitment to providing a safe, nurturing environment for children

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care, support and supervision to children
• Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities based on children's interests
• Support learning, development and individual needs
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment
• Follow Tiny Tots' policies including health, safety and safeguarding requirements
• Complete observations and maintain records of children's development
• Work as part of the room team and support daily routines
