Job summary

Bunratty Community Childcare in Coolock is seeking a full-time Educator to join our busy creche. You will plan and deliver a childcare curriculum for children aged 1–5 and support their development through engaging activities.

The ideal candidate has qualifications in childcare (Level 6+) and strong English communication skills, with a willingness to be mentored in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Develop and plan a childcare curriculum for diverse age groups.
• Observe and document child development progression for each child.
• Be a strong team member and willing to be mentored if required.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Minimum Level 6 in Childcare, Level 7 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Join a busy creche in Coolock as a full-time Educator.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of the childcare curriculum.
• Engage children aged 1–5 with educational activities and play.
• Maintain clear communication with colleagues and families.

About us

Bunratty Childcareoperates a community childcare facility in the Coolock area, catering for children aged 1 to 5 years old.

We are a not-for- profit organisation with charitable status and a voluntary board.

We have been operating in the child care sector for over 20 years and we cater for up to 78 part time children.

We aim to provide a valuable and affordable quality childcare service, providing children with valuable educational experiences which meet the needs of the community.

About the Role

Educator: Full time position

Working hours: 8:30am-5:30pm.

We are looking for an enthusiastic childcare professional to join our dynamic and busy creche based in Coolock. Due to high demand for places, we are looking to expand our staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children of all ages and be looking to become a valued member of our close-knit team. Experience working in a busy full day care environment a benefit.

We are looking for a childcare professional who has an enthusiasm for working with children. We require candidates with qualifications in childcare or equivalent and recognition of qualifications for working in ECCE at a minimum level.

Entry Requirements

• Candidates must hold a minimum qualification is Level 6 in Childcare but level 7 is preferable.
