Job summary

Bright Software Group in Ireland is seeking an HR Generalist for a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover. You will be the day-to-day HR support across the business, advising on policy, onboarding, compliance, and people processes.

Ideal candidate has solid HR generalist experience, knowledge of Irish employment law, and a proactive approach in a fast-paced environment. This role sits in the Core HR team under the Head of HR Operations.

Qualifications

• HR generalist experience in a fast-paced or growing organisation.
• Strong working knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience handling employee relations matters and HR cases.
• Organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple priorities and maintaining accurate records.
• Clear communicator, able to build trust with employees and managers.
• HR qualification (CIPD or equivalent or working towards one).
• Experience with HRIS systems and comfortable working with people data.
• Curiosity about AI and emerging technology with openness to adopting new tools as part of your work.

Responsibilities

• Advise managers and employees on policy applications; maintain thorough documentation.
• Manage probation reviews and routine employee relations matters.
• Guide managers and employees through the leave process.
• Keep up to date with changes in employment law and flag implications for Bright's policies.
