Job summary

Sherpa Kids in Ireland offers Before School, After School, and Holiday Clubs designed for national-aged children. Activities are conducted on-site at schools, with a focus on structured, fun daily routines and meaningful engagement for kids.

The role requires supervising children, assisting with homework, and leading a range of indoor and outdoor activities. Garda vetting is completed after interview, with references required before starting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play
• Assist with homework and educational tasks
• Engaging in a variety of planned activities (indoor and outdoor) with the children each day
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
