Job summary

Bellbridge House Hotel in Spanish Point, Co. Clare, seeks a Duty Manager to join our management team. This hands-on role focuses on smooth shift operations, guest satisfaction and teamwork across departments, including Food & Beverage and Front Office.

The role demands hospitality experience, leadership ability, and a hands-on, guest-focused approach in a busy hotel environment. We offer a full-time position with meals on duty and a salary based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience in hospitality.
• Experience in hotel, front office or F&B operations preferred.
• Strong guest-service focus and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day hotel operation during shift.
• Lead and support Food & Beverage and Front Office teams.
• Ensure high standards of guest service across the hotel.
• Address guest queries or issues confidently and professionally.
• Supervise restaurant, bar, weddings and function services.
• Assist with staff allocation and labour management.
• Ensure procedures, cash handling and closing procedures are followed.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and service.
• Support weddings, functions and special events.
• Take responsibility for the hotel in the absence of senior management.

Duty Manager – Bellbridge House Hotel, Spanish Point, Co. ClareJoin the team at one of West Clare’s best-known hotels.The Bellbridge House Hotel, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in Spanish Point, is looking for an enthusiastic Duty Manager to join our management team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys hospitality, working with people and being at the centre of a busy hotel operation.The RoleAs Duty Manager, you will take responsibility for the smooth running of the hotel during your shift, working closely with the Hotel Manager and our departmental supervisors.You will be visible, approachable and actively involved in the operation – supporting the team, looking after our guests and ensuring our standards are maintained throughout the hotel.
