Job summary

SSA Group in Dublin is seeking a Junior/Intermediate Estimator to support the Senior Estimating Team on large-scale building tenders across Ireland. Based in the Dublin office, you will assist in preparation and submission of competitive bids.

You'll work on measurements, take-offs, BOQ, review drawings and tender docs, help with pricing and value engineering, and liaise with subcontractors to obtain quotations. A clear pathway to progression is offered with training and development.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical and technical skills.
• 1-4 years’ experience in Estimating or Pre-Construction.
• Experience with Buildsoft/Cubit is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and submission of tenders.
• Measurement, take-offs, and BOQ preparation.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Assisting with pricing, cost analysis, and value engineering.
• Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotations.
• Supporting the compilation of tender submissions.
• Maintaining databases, logs, and cost libraries.
• Contributing to bid handovers and post-tender reviews.
