Job summary

Bulmers Ireland is seeking a Transport Operations Trainer to assess commercial drivers, identify training needs, and deliver on-road and classroom-based training across our depots in the UK. You will collaborate with regional teams to address compliance metrics, including tachograph infringements and road traffic incidents.

The role focuses on driver assessments, targeted retraining, and ongoing improvement of safety and working practices, with strong liaison to fleet, HR, and HSE teams.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of transport compliance requirements and drivers' hours regulations.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Experience with driver assessment or training is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct driving assessments for new and existing drivers, including those involved in at-fault incidents.
• Deliver targeted retraining based on assessment outcomes or escalate issues as needed.
• Provide C&C-specific Driver CPC training and facilitate vehicle familiarisation sessions.
