Job summary

Stantec Ireland is seeking a Water Process Engineer to join our Water team. You will work with clients to address complex drinking water challenges, improving water quality, resilience and supply security across Ireland.

You’ll contribute to feasibility studies, design, construction and commissioning, selecting treatment technologies, performing process calculations and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Process Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership.
• Experience in drinking water treatment or related projects.
• Knowledge of drinking water treatment technologies and water quality objectives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake and review process calculations, treatment performance assessments and optimisation studies.
• Support selection and specification of drinking water treatment technologies.
• Develop practical and sustainable treatment solutions tailored to water sources.
• Work closely with clients, contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Contribute to projects from feasibility and concept development through to detailed design, construction and commissioning.
