Job summary

The Irish Wheelchair Association is seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants to support members in Donegal Municipal District. As a part-time position (20 hours per week), your role includes assisting members with personal care, domestic tasks, and promoting independence in daily living. Required qualifications include QQI level 5 in Healthcare Support and a full clean drivers' licence. A kind and caring attitude is essential. Qualifications

• QQI level 5 (Major Award) in Healthcare Support or similar qualification in Social Care is essential.
• Full clean drivers' licence is essential.
• You must use your own smart phone to check in and out of your visits.

Responsibilities

• Enable members to achieve maximum independence in daily living.
• Assist in personal care, domestic assistance, social and educational assistance.
• Liaise with other home support staff and maintain communication with coordinators.
