Job summary

Our Client is a leading global business seeking an experienced Divisional CFO to join its senior leadership team. The role carries responsibility for the financial performance of a major division across international markets and demands a strong commercial mindset.

You will partner with divisional leadership, lead budgeting, forecasting and cash management, and drive performance improvements, transformation and growth initiatives while developing finance teams across sites.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience.
• Experience as Head of Finance, Divisional/Regional Finance Director, Head of FP&A, Financial Controller or equivalent.
• Strong commercial finance and business partnering experience.
• Experience within manufacturing, industrial or another operationally intensive environment would be relevant.
• Responsibility for the financial performance of a significant business, division or region.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and performance management experience.
• Experience working across multiple sites, business units or geographies.
• Proven ability to partner with and influence senior operational and commercial stakeholders.
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing and developing finance teams.
• Experience of business transformation, integration, M&A or significant organisational change would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Divisional leadership and strategic financial input for the division.
• Own divisional financial performance focusing on revenue, profitability, cash generation and ROI.
• Commercial business partnering with senior leaders to challenge performance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and longer-term strategic planning across the division.
• Provide high-quality analysis and insight into performance and identify margin improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with operational teams to understand and improve financial performance of sites and markets.
• Drive cash conversion and working capital management across the division.
• Support investment decisions and capital allocation.
• Assist transformation, integration, acquisitions and growth initiatives.
• Lead and develop finance teams and align divisional priorities with Group goals.
