Job summary

Yuno Energy is hiring a Project Manager to drive district heating schemes from development to construction completion. You will secure grant funding, lead procurement of consultants and contractors, and manage contracts that follow.

You will work closely with our Head of District Heating Network Development and cross‑functional teams, coordinating with local authorities and regulators to deliver projects. A strong background in renewable energy and procurement is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ project management experience in renewable energy, energy infrastructure or utilities.
• Demonstrated procurement experience: running competitive tenders, and negotiating and managing contracts.
• Contract management experience on both sides of award and site administration.
• Working knowledge of renewable or low‑carbon heat technologies and their business case.
• Experience managing multi‑stakeholder infrastructure projects with councils, developers or regulators.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of district heating projects from feasibility through to construction and handover.
• Lead procurement of consultants, contractors and delivery partners; prepare tender documents and evaluate bids.
• Manage construction contracts and consultant appointments; administer contracts and certify payments.
• Prepare and manage grant funding applications and manage compliance and reporting.
• Manage project budgets, programmes and risk registers; report progress to the steering group.
• Act as main contact with contractors and internal teams; ensure health, safety and quality standards.
• Bring knowledge of heat generation technologies to support project decisions.
• Support Head of District Heating Network Development in growing team and pipeline.
