Job summary

Force Recruitment and Outsourcing in Dublin is partnering with a leading international healthcare business to appoint a Director of Commercial Strategy & Marketing for its Irish operation. The role sits on the local leadership team and reports to the General Manager, with full ownership of the commercial agenda.

You will shape the strategy across brands, channels and investments, lead HCP and consumer marketing, manage the budget and P&L, and build a high-performing team with rigorous ROI

Qualifications

• Senior commercial or marketing leadership in pharma, healthcare, medtech or another regulated industry.
• A track record in commercial strategy and integrated campaigns, with budget or P&L responsibility.
• Real depth in digital marketing, omnichannel and performance measurement.
• Comfort with insight, analytics and ROI based investment decisions.
• Experience leading and developing teams.
• A degree in marketing, business or life sciences. An MBA or master’s is an advantage.
• Consumer facing marketing experience is useful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Commercial strategy and brand plans, with the customer, channel and investment choices behind them.
• HCP marketing: segmentation, campaign architecture, messaging and integrated engagement plans.
• Compliant consumer activation across digital channels, including work with online content creators.
• Digital and omnichannel strategy, customer journey design and campaign measurement.
• The marketing budget, with the authority to move investment between campaigns and channels.
• Launch readiness and lifecycle planning for new products and indications.
• The marketing team, and the agencies, media and data partners behind it.
• Compliance and governance across everything the team puts in market.
