Job summary

Scotiabank in Dublin seeks a Director, Subsidiary Account Manager (SAM) to lead relationships with European subsidiaries of US, Canadian and LATAM clients, coordinating with regional treasury centres in Ireland and country teams.

You will work with Global Risk, Product Partners and Senior leaders to deliver tailored lending and non-lending solutions while developing global account strategies and driving cross-border transactions within a global platform.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate banking with multinational clients or cross-border coverage.
• Strong credit evaluation, structuring and transaction execution.
• Advanced financial modelling and financial accounting knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management.
• MBA, CFA, CA or equivalent financial education and experience.
• Proven ability to manage senior client relationships and coordinate across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with European subsidiaries and regional treasury centres in Ireland.
• Act as primary local relationship manager and single point of contact for portfolio.
• Partner with Parent Account Managers to develop and execute holistic global account plans.
• Identify opportunities with existing and prospective clients and coordinate tailored lending and non-lending solutions.
• Structure, analyse and conduct due diligence on transactions of varying complexity.
• Prepare high-quality credit submissions and recommendations for adjudication by Global Risk Management.
• Coordinate transaction execution and service delivery with Parent Account Managers, product partners and country teams.
• Negotiate product terms, conditions and legal documentation with clients and other financial institutions.
• Monitor and manage designated accounts, including annual reviews, waivers, amendments and restructurings.
