Mastercard Inc. is seeking a Director - Operations & Resiliency Lead to transform platform stability, resiliency, and risk management across its global technology landscape.

This role provides centralized governance for incidents, change control, risk and third-party oversight, and security remediation. The successful candidate will drive a proactive, risk-based approach to operational excellence, embedding resiliency and strong controls across engineering and operations while advancing

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technology operations, site reliability engineering, operational risk, controls, governance, or related leadership roles.
• Experience leading resiliency, incident management, change governance, and risk programs at scale.
• Strong understanding of operational risk frameworks, security governance, and production operations.
• Ability to influence and align engineering, product, operations and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the operational resiliency strategy, identifying systemic risks and remediation opportunities.
• Establish and maintain centralized governance for incidents with tracked remediation actions.
• Own enterprise-wide change management governance with risk assessment and approvals.
• Lead operational risk and controls programs, including vulnerabilities and audit findings remediation.
• Manage third-party operational risk across critical vendors and providers.
• Lead SRE and governance functions to improve availability and reliability.
• Drive automation, standardization and process improvements for efficiency and risk reduction.
• Develop executive reporting on health, resiliency metrics, risk exposure, controls, and remediation progress.
