Job summary

SHEIN is seeking a Government Relations Director, Sustainability to lead EU policy and regulatory advocacy, monitor ESG developments, and partner with senior management to align policy with business goals.

Based in Dublin with a strong Brussels network, you will map stakeholders, organize meetings, draft reports, and shape engagement strategies around EPR, circularity and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Degree in International Relations, Political Science, Global Studies, Law, Economics, Communications or related field.
• At least 10 years of work experience in European government relations or public policy.
• Experience in policy research, development and analysis.
• Strong policy and regulatory network in Brussels with a demonstrated ability to interact at political level to undertake advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Track EU legislative and regulatory developments related to ESG and their implications for SHEIN’s business.
• Collaborate with Senior Director to develop recommendations for senior management on ESG policy and regulatory issues.
• Identify key ESG policy stakeholders and map relationships.
• Develop engagement strategies to build strategic relationships with stakeholders in the EU.
• Formulate and execute advocacy plans to support SHEIN’s ESG policy positioning.
• Lead advocacy on EPR and circularity regulations in EU and across Europe.
• Organize meetings and prepare briefing notes for senior management.
• Draft reports on EU policy developments relevant to SHEIN’s ESG priorities.
