Job summary

Tyndall National Institute in Cork is seeking a Training and Online Learning Officer to support the PIXEurope Training Programme, developing digital learning activities, including online training, webinars, and learner engagement, for a European audience.

The role collaborates with technical experts and project partners across Europe, manages LMS, and translates research outputs into accessible training resources. Blended working and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• A 3rd level qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Typically, 5+ years' relevant professional experience in training, online learning, learning technologies, or similar role.
• Experience coordinating the end-to-end lifecycle of training and online learning activities, including development, coordination, delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or digital learning platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the PIXEurope Training Programme.
• Lead the development and operation of digital learning activities, including webinars, on-demand resources, and online training content.
• Manage the administration, maintenance and ongoing enhancement of learning management systems (LMS).
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of training activities, including planning, scheduling, delivery, evaluation, and reporting.
• Monitor participation, learner engagement, and programme performance through training metrics and KPIs.
