Job summary

BAWAG Group seeks a Product Owner / Feature Lead to drive delivery for multiple features within our Digital Banking apps or web portals. You will own feature domains with a dedicated Scrum team, balancing new work with ongoing live features from idea to production.

You will work closely with developers, UX, and QA to ship high-quality software quickly, make pragmatic UX decisions, and translate ideas into developer-ready requirements using AI-assisted analysis.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in product ownership or system/business analysis in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to interpret system behaviour by navigating code with AI assistance.
• Strong experience writing high-quality user stories and Gherkin acceptance criteria.
• Comfortable using tools like VS Code, Postman, and API explorers.

Responsibilities

• Own a defined product sub-domain end-to-end, including roadmap, priorities, and delivery outcomes.
• Drive a small team and work closely with the App or Web Product Owner.
• Turn product ideas into structured, high-quality inputs for developer workflows.
• Provide clear problem statements, constraints, and value propositions.
• Write high-quality, constraint-aware stories in Gherkin format.
• Collaborate with engineers, UX, and QA to remove ambiguity and align expectations.
