Job summary

BearingPoint Ireland is seeking a Product Owner to bridge business and technology teams, shaping solution visions and owning product backlogs. You’ll collaborate with clients, delivery teams and senior stakeholders to prioritise high-value outcomes and drive successful IT solutions across complex programmes.

Ideal candidate has extensive experience in agile environments, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to facilitate workshops and document clear requirements.

Qualifications

• 7–15 years’ experience as product owner, systems analyst, or business analyst on large systems integration projects.
• Experience facilitating workshops with large stakeholder groups.
• Experience specifying business requirements as user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Experience in Agile delivery with user stories, backlog grooming, estimation, prioritisation, sprints, retrospectives, stand-ups.
• Experience with Problem and Incident Management processes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent collaboration and English communication skills; good technical understanding.
• Desirable SQL proficiency and Power BI reporting familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to understand priorities and facilitate workshops.
• Document business, functional, and user requirements.
• Develop and manage user stories and product backlogs.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support project planning, progress reporting, and risk identification.
• Coordinate deployment planning and ensure successful solution delivery.
