Job summary

Archer Recruitment is seeking a DevOps Architect to own the Platform Engineering roadmap across AWS and Kubernetes, leading enterprise DevOps strategy and cloud innovation in a global tech environment.

You will drive automation, self-service, and DevSecOps practices while collaborating with Engineering, Security, Architecture, Infrastructure, and Data teams to deliver secure, scalable software.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering.
• Strong AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform expertise.
• Knowledge of IaC, CI/CD, observability, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has opened for a DevOps Architect - Platform Strategy & Data Operations to join a leading global organisation undergoing significant technology transformation. Reporting to the Head of Platform Enablement, you'll play a strategic technical leadership role, owning the Platform Engineering roadmap while defining the future of developer platforms, cloud infrastructure, and data operations across the enterprise.

You'll lead the evolution of modern platform capabilities, driving automation, self-service, DevSecOps practices, and cloud-native engineering while working closely with Engineering, Security, Architecture, Infrastructure, and Data teams. This role combines strategic technical ownership with hands‑on leadership, enabling engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient software faster.
