Job summary

3D Personnel seeks a Construction & Development Manager to lead engineering and development delivery in the Greater Dublin area. The role focuses on planning, coordination, and delivery across all project stages from design to handover, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will review engineering solutions, coordinate with consultants, architects, and contractors, and drive programme delivery within budget while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Civil/Structural or Building Services engineering background.
• 5–10 years experience in engineering, PM or development delivery within the Irish construction or property sector.
• Experience in main contracting environment; strong understanding of design, infrastructure delivery and construction methodologies.

Role: Construction & Development Manager

Location: Dublin

Salary: - €90K - €130K (DOE) + industry leading package.

An exciting opening has arisen for a Construction and Development Manager. The role will support senior management in the technical planning, coordination, and delivery of development projects in the Greater Dublin area. The role involves a strong engineering and construction background, with responsibility for overseeing the technical development of projects through planning, procurement, detailed design, construction, and final handover.

Your goal will be to ensure that each development is strategically and commercially positioned to achieve a reputation for Quality and ensure a great product for the end home owners.

You the successful applicant:

Will play a key role in reviewing engineering and design solutions, coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams, and ensuring buildable, cost-effective project delivery. The role involves close engagement with architects, engineers, contractors, and statutory authorities to ensure that projects are delivered on programme, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:-

• Qualification in Engineering (Civil, Structural or Building Services), Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years’ experience in engineering, project management or development delivery within the Irish construction or property sector. Ideally within a main contracting environment.
• A strong understanding of engineering design, infrastructure delivery and construction methodologies is essential.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams.
• Good working knowledge of Irish planning processes, building regulations and BCAR compliance.
• Strong commercial awareness and cost management capability.
• Experience working across design, procurement and construction stages of projects.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
