Job summary

Design Build Search is partnering with a developer to recruit a Senior Project Manager in Dublin. You will oversee residential schemes from concept to completion, with a focus on safety, quality, schedule, and cost control.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Construction Management and have at least 8 years of construction management experience, including residential projects and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management or related discipline; equivalent technical degree preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Construction Management including project management roles.
• Experience on residential schemes is required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure highest levels of H&S, quality and environmental standards on site.
• Deliver projects safely and on time to the stated expectations.
• Assist with technical submittals and procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Program and schedule works; oversee and organise project work streams.
• Issue contractual notices – variations, delays & extensions of time.
• Monitor costs and provide input on monthly CVR; take corrective actions.
• Lead progress meetings and report on progress.

Design Build Search is working closely with a rapidly expanding developer who are going through an exciting period of growth. Due to a strong pipeline of projects across Dublin, they have an opportunity for Senior Project Manager. The successful applicant will oversee projects from concept to completion. Current projects are a mix of residential schemes (70 & 80 units) and apartments. To be considered you must have previous Irish and developer experience.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline or an equivalent technical degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Construction Management including previous project management experience
• Previous experience on residential schemes
• Self-motivated with strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to read, understand and create contractual requirements, scope objectives and report effectively.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.
