Job summary

ICT Services in Limerick is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our established IT team. You will provide day-to-day desktop and remote support to end users, troubleshooting hardware, software and Office 365 issues.

You will work with Windows OS, Active Directory and Group Policy, manage incidents in our ticketing system, and escalate complex issues as needed to ensure SLAs are met.

Qualifications

• Experience in Desktop Support or IT Helpdesk.
• Knowledge of Windows, Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365.
• PC hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with iOS/Android devices and endpoint security solutions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day desktop and remote IT support to end users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and application issues.
• Support Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory.
• Manage incidents and service requests through an IT ticketing system.
• Provide PC/laptop break-fix support and mobile device troubleshooting.
• Ensure issues are resolved within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
• Escalate complex technical issues where required.
