Job summary

ICT Services in Limerick is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join a well-established IT team. You will provide day-to-day desktop and remote support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assist with Windows OS, Office 365, and Active Directory in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset and the ability to multitask while resolving incidents within SLAs.

Qualifications

• Experience in Desktop Support or IT Helpdesk.
• Knowledge of Windows, Active Directory and Group Policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day desktop and remote IT support to end users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and application issues.
• Support Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory.
• Manage incidents and service requests through an IT ticketing system.
• Provide PC/laptop break-fix support and mobile device troubleshooting.
• Ensure issues are resolved within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
• Escalate complex technical issues where required.
• Previous experience in Desktop Support or IT Helpdesk.
