Job summary

ICDS (UK) Ltd in Limerick is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead the design delivery of major residential developments across Ireland and the UK. You will manage the design process from inception to completion, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to meet time, budget, and quality targets.

The role requires 5+ years in design management within construction, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a design management role within construction.
• Experience on residential, housing or apartment developments.
• Relevant construction, engineering or architectural qualification.
• Strong technical understanding and ability to coordinate multidisciplinary design teams.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the design process from pre-construction through to completion.
• Lead and coordinate design teams, consultants, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Ensure designs delivered on time, within budget, to required quality.
• Review and manage design information, drawings, specifications and submissions.
• Identify and resolve design issues throughout project lifecycle.
• Work with construction and commercial teams for effective delivery.
• Attend design and project meetings and provide progress updates to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations and project requirements.
