Blue Forge Recruitment partners with leading retailers in Ireland and is seeking an experienced Department Manager for a busy North Dublin store. The role focuses on leading a high-volume team, driving sales performance and maintaining exceptional customer service.

You will manage stock, implement promotions, and control costs while ensuring policy compliance and staff development. The position offers a competitive salary and bonus structure with 40 hours per week.

Competenze

• Minimum 4-5 years of retail management experience, ideally in big box/DIY.
• Proficient in KPI management, sales targets, budgets and shrinkage controls.
• Experience with retail IT systems to understand stock and sales trends.
• Excellent people skills with the ability to lead and motivate large teams (up to 50).
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver results.

Following a successful 2026, they are seeking an experienced Department Manager with a background in high-volume, big-box retail or DIY.

Our client is seeking an experienced and professional Department Manager to join one of their busy retail stores across North Dublin. • Act as a senior member of management, supporting the Store manager to achieve sales and other commercial objectives

• A good trek record of employment, good longevity in your work history and a Minimum of 4-5 years of retail management experience, ideally within a big box commercial retail business.
• Must be completely competent in KPI management, sales targets, budgets and shrinkage and labour spend
• Proficient using Retail IT systems to understand stock and sales trends
• Excellent people skills with the ability to lead and motivate large teams of up to 50 under your management across different departments.
• The ability to work in high-pressure situations and achieve results
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a high level of confidence.
• A strong work ethic.
