Job description

Our client is scaling customer acquisition across every segment of the Irish market. Email is the backbone of their go-to-market engine, warming target accounts from first touch to sales-ready, powering outbound prospecting at scale, and driving retention and renewal. This role owns that motion end to end: deep, hands-on expertise in email, supported by the digital channels that amplify it, performance media, retargeting, paid social, and landing pages.

This is a specialist role built on an operator's craft. Deep, hands-on email expertise is the non-negotiable foundation: everything else can be developed here; that cannot.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own digital demand generation end to end, with email as the primary engine: setting channel strategy, allocating budget, and reporting on pipeline contribution.
  • Own email infrastructure and deliverability: domain and mailbox architecture, SPF/DKIM/DMARC authentication, domain warming, sender reputation, and inbox placement testing.
  • Design and run staged, persona-based nurture programmes that move accounts from first touch to sales-ready, plus retention and renewal campaigns.
  • Operate the outbound prospecting email engine at scale (Smartlead, Instantly, or equivalent) with strong deliverability discipline.
  • Run a continuous testing programme (subject lines, send times, copy, personalisation) with documented learnings.
  • Own list hygiene, segmentation, and compliance (GDPR, unsubscribe, audit trails).
  • Operate the digital channels that surround and amplify email: performance media, paid social, retargeting, and landing pages.
  • Own measurement and reporting across channels (GA4, GTM, UTM discipline) so leadership knows what the engine produces.
  • Configure and run the marketing technology stack, partnering with CRM stakeholders on data and lead-flow requirements.
  • Apply AI tools pragmatically to improve personalisation, testing, and channel performance.
What We're Looking For
  • 7-8 years in digital marketing with email as the core channel throughout, ideally in B2B SaaS, fintech, or a subscription/renewal-driven business.
  • Genuine, hands-on experience with email infrastructure and deliverability, able to speak from experience about diagnosing and fixing a deliverability collapse.
  • Experience operating email at meaningful scale: multi-domain sending, six-figure monthly volumes, or large segmented databases.
  • A track record designing nurture and outbound programmes that measurably moved pipeline.
  • Solid working knowledge of retargeting, paid social, and landing page optimisation.
  • Hands-on martech fluency: marketing automation (HubSpot or equivalent), outbound sequencing tools, and validation/enrichment tooling.
  • A data-driven operator who reports on pipeline contribution, not vanity metrics.
  • Candidates who cannot demonstrate deep, hands-on email infrastructure experience, however strong their broader demand generation background, will not progress.
