Job summary

eTeam is offering a contract role for a Deal Desk Analyst to support the EMEA region. The position focuses on structuring profitable and compliant transactions, assisting sales teams, and expediting deal closures.

You will lead contract creation, coordinate with Finance, Legal, Licensing and Revenue teams, engage customers during negotiations, and forecast deal status for FP&A and executive management.

Qualifications

• Proven ability as a financial analyst and business partner, with experience supporting a sales organization.
• Strong analytical and accounting skills; proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Deal Desk Analyst

Duration: 11 months contract initially

The Opportunity:

• The primary focus of this position will be to help structure profitable and compliant transactions that address the needs of a diverse set of internal corporate customers, maximize client's revenue, and increase the effectiveness and productivity of the EMEA C&P Sales force.
• This role will act in a fiduciary capacity in managing first line approvals for the deal approval process, including deal structuring and accelerating deal closures.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the day-to-day contract creation and deal approval processes.
• Meet with sales teams and communicate via detailed proposals with various corporate partners (Finance, Product Business Units, Professional Services, Legal, Licensing, Credit, Order Management, and Revenue Assurance) to articulate deal value in a consistent manner.
• Engage with customers during the deal creation and negotiation process.
• Forecast deal status and communicate updates to FP&A and executive sales management.
• Ensure performance is aligned with identified metrics and service levels.

What you need to succeed:

• Proven ability as a financial analyst and business partner, with experience supporting a sales organization.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, accounting, and Excel skills.
• Bachelors in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience.
