Job summary

KPMG Ireland is seeking a Data Analytics Director within Deal Advisory to lead analytics engagements across M&A and financial due diligence. The role blends technical leadership with client delivery, guiding teams and shaping analytics strategy.

The role sits in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with hybrid work across Belfast and Dublin, and ongoing opportunities for career growth and involvement in advanced data solutions and AI techniques.

Qualifications

• At least seven to ten years of relevant experience in an M&A Deals / FP&A / Financial Accounting environment.
• Professional qualifications accountants or equivalent (ACA/ACCA/CFA/CIMA).
• Bachelor’s degree (minimum 2:1).
• Proficient with Alteryx, Power BI, Excel, Tableau and/or SQL, Python, R or other ETL tools.
• Excellent analytical and project management skills; ability to translate complex data into insights.
• Experience in senior project management, coordinating staff, clients and partners in delivering outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead Deal Analytics engagements, working with financial due diligence and commercial strategy teams to turn complex data into insights.
• Manage delivery across multiple deals and develop analytics colleagues and improve methodologies.
• Design and oversee analytics solutions, models, reports and dashboards from data sets.
• Prioritise and manage several deliverables across multiple deals.
• Contribute to the structured implementation of KPMG data solutions and methodologies.
• Develop and oversee training and risk management processes within the analytics team.
