Optum Ireland Analytics seeks an Associate Director Clinical Consultants to lead cutting-edge analytic projects at the intersection of clinical medicine, data science and technology. You will collaborate with Medical Directors and Data Scientists to architect, deploy and oversee analytics solutions while ensuring clinical relevance and governance.

The role offers hybrid work between Dublin office and home, flexible arrangements, and opportunities to contribute across large healthcare datasets,

Qualifications

• Master's in Public Health or analytics; or equivalent advanced education.
• Fully qualified physician with Irish Medical Council registration.
• Expert knowledge of clinical medicine and guidelines.
• Experience in analytics, data science, or technology deployment.
• Experience in fast-paced Agile environments with multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Medical Directors and Data Scientists to architect analytics solutions.
• Lead validation of data science- and AI-enabled outputs with clinical alignment.
• Oversee projects from proofs of concept to product development and reengineering.
• Communicate results clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure governance based on evidence-based medicine and regulatory compliance.
• Translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.
