Tech Skills Resources (part of the CPL Group) in Dublin 4 is seeking an experienced Data Protection Specialist for a full-time 35-hour-per-week contract. Hybrid working arrangements available. Start date ASAP and a pro-rated annual salary of €83,113.

You will partner with stakeholders to advise on GDPR compliance, DPIAs, ROPA, incident management, and data governance, with at least five years in data protection and strong regulatory knowledge.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data protection.
• Deep knowledge of GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical guidance.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Experience identifying, assessing, and advising on data protection risks.

Responsabilidades

• Advise stakeholders on projects to manage data risks and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a delegate for the Data Protection Officer (DPO) as required.
• Provide guidance on Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
• Support incident and data breach management activities.
• Support file management and administration activities.
• Maintain and update the Record of Processing Activities (ROPA).
• Manage the Data Protection mailbox and respond to queries from stakeholders.
• Assist in developing and maintaining data protection policies and procedures.

Salary: €83,113 per annum (pro-rated for the duration of the contract)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Working Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with stakeholders to provide guidance and constructive challenge on projects and new initiatives to manage data risks and regulatory requirements
• Act as a delegate for the Data Protection Officer (DPO) as required.
• Provide advice on Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
• Support incident and data breach management activities.
• Support file management and administration activities.
• Maintain and update the Record of Processing Activities (ROPA).
• Manage the Data Protection mailbox, including business-as-usual queries from internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the development and maintenance of data protection policies and procedures.
• Minimum of five years' experience in a data protection role.
• Excellent understanding of GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical and clear advice.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Experience identifying, assessing, and advising on data protection and information governance risks.
• Practical and pragmatic approach to problem-solving and delivering outcomes.
