Job summary

Vhi Group Services DAC is seeking a Senior Data Protection Analyst to join our Data Protection team on a permanent, hybrid basis in Abbey Street, Dublin 1. Reporting to the Data Protection Manager, you will ensure personal data is processed in line with GDPR and other laws, providing expert privacy guidance and managing DPIAs/PIAs across projects.

You will work closely with stakeholders, embed privacy by design principles, and contribute to reducing privacy risks while supporting strategic

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in law or data protection related field.
Qualified lawyer preferred.
CIPP/E certification.
Strong knowledge of Data Protection Laws and practices.

Responsibilities

Advise and liaise with stakeholders on data protection requirements.
Conduct Data Protection Assessments for new systems, processes and technologies.
Manage triage of new assessments based on risk and business priority.
Collaborate with business areas on complex projects (e.g., AI) to ensure compliance.
Provide training and guidance to the DP team and maintain procedure knowledge.
Produce reports on assessments and reviews for the DP Manager.
Ensure DPIAs/PIAs/DP support are managed within SLAs.
Review vendor data protection requirements and liaise to ensure compliance.
Review and draft data protection clauses in contracts.
