Job summary

Tate is looking for a Data Centre Structural Engineer to join our Technical Team in Dublin. You will shape structural designs for data centre solutions, ensuring safety and reliability of critical infrastructure.

You will collaborate with architects and MEP engineers, perform calculations, and use SCIA or Tekla for modelling. A 1–2 year background in structural engineering is expected, with strong communication and safety focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• 1–2 years of structural engineering experience.
• Proficient in structural analysis software and Eurocodes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structural analysis and design for data centre projects.
• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare calculations and specifications per Eurocode and codes.
• Perform site visits and assess existing structures.
• Model and analyze with SCIA or Tekla Structures.
• Ensure safety, sustainability, and compliance with regulations.
• Support project management, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Participate in client meetings and design reviews.
